Problems solved by technology

However, this system is anaerobic fermentation, and the fermentation temperature is still low (30-45°C). In this temperature range, various pathogenic bacteria and insect eggs are not completely killed, and the quality of subsequent fermentation products is poor.
Moreover, the system is divided into anaerobic composting room and electrochemical room, and the system configuration is complex and cumbersome
In addition, the start-up process of the system is cumbersome, and the electrochemically active bacteria need to be acclimatized in the early stage, and the electrolyte solution is replaced every 3-5 days. After several cycles, the system can be considered to be started.

Embodiment 1

[0047] 1) Design of composting reactor:

[0048] A cylindrical composting reactor is used: 55cm in diameter and 100cm in height. Arrange a rectangular working electrode along the inner wall of the plastic barrel, the material is stainless steel plate, the area is 3-5m 2 . In the center of the plastic barrel, place a cylindrical auxiliary electrode: a circular tube as the inner center, with a diameter of 5 cm and a height of 80 cm; on the upper part of the plastic barrel, connect a saturated calomel reference electrode. Plastic bucket bottom setting In order to make the aeration uniform, the height of the ventilation pipe is 30-50cm, and an aeration hole is made every 10cm from the bottom to 30cm, and an aeration hole is made every 20cm at 30-50cm. The outer wall of the plastic barrel is wrapped with cotton fiber, which is used for the insulation of the reactor. At the same time, an online thermometer is set around the plastic barrel to record the temperature change of the...

Embodiment 2

[0054] A bar-shaped composting reactor is used, which is 2 meters long, 1 meter wide and 1 meter high. Arrange a rectangular working electrode along the long side, the material is graphite plate, the area is about 1m 2 . On the other side of the long side, place an auxiliary electrode of the same size: a saturated calomel reference electrode is connected to the upper part of the stack. bottom setting In order to make the aeration uniform, the height of the ventilation pipe is 30-50cm, and an aeration hole is made every 10cm from the bottom to 30cm, and an aeration hole is made every 20cm at 30-50cm, and the aeration hole is Gas working parameters are the same as in Example 1. The outer wall of the reactor is wrapped with cotton fibers for the insulation of the reactor. At the same time, online thermometers are installed around the inside of the heap to record the temperature changes of the compost in real time. The potential setting of the potentiostat is: +5V vs SCE (sa...

Embodiment 3

[0057] Embodiment 3 and embodiment 2 adopt the same composting reactor, with pig manure as compost raw material, rice husk as auxiliary material, mass ratio is 10:1, potentiostat potential setting is: -5V vs SCE (saturated calomel electrode is reference electrode). All the other are identical with embodiment 1.

Abstract

The invention discloses an apparatus and method for electrochemically assisting aerobic composting of organic solid waste. The aerobic composting apparatus includes a composting reactor, a working electrode, an auxiliary electrode and a reference electrode. The working electrode is arranged on the inner wall of the composting reactor. The reference electrode is arranged between the working electrode and the auxiliary electrode. A ventilation pipeline with an aeration head is arranged on the bottom of the composting reactor. The invention also discloses the method for electrochemically assisting the aerobic composting of the organic solid waste by the apparatus. The composing device of the invention is used to electrochemically assist the aerobic composting so as to enrich and utilize energy microorganisms to promote redox reactions in a compost heap, rapidly increase the composting temperature, shorten the composting cycle, and improve the composting maturity.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an electrochemically assisted aerobic composting device and method for organic solid waste. Background technique [0002] The generation of organic solid waste in my country has the characteristics of large volume, wide range, variety and complex nature. At present, the annual production of livestock and poultry manure, crop straw, domestic garbage, and urban sludge in China has reached about 3 billion tons, 900 million tons, 180 million tons, and 40 million tons respectively. How to deal with these growing organic solid wastes, which are produced continuously every day, has become a serious social problem. How to convert organic solid waste into human-usable "resources" and "energy" according to "local" conditions and "material" conditions, and realize its harmless and resourceful recycling is the key to the sustainable development of my country's current society. Major practical problems facing development and urgently neede...
