Stronger diffraction peaks displayed in a powder X-raydiffraction pattern expressed by diffraction angles 2theta are 11.630 (54 percent), 11.990 (21 percent), 14.420 (18 percent), 22.430 (21 percent), 23.330 (19 percent), 24.710 (16 percent) and 25.670 (100 percent). The beta crystal form of the leonurine hydrochloride, which is prepared with the preparation method disclosed by the invention, has the characteristic of high stability, can keep stableunder conditions of high illumination, high temperature, high humidity and long-time storage, and can be used for preparing a drug composition.
