The preparation method comprises the following steps: 1, separating husks of plant cornstalks; 2, crushing and grinding cornstalk husks to obtain cornstalk fibers; 3, immersing the cornstalk fibers into a sodium hypochlorite solution;4, adding the cornstalk fibers into a cerous nitrate ethanol solution, adding an ethanol solution of sodium hydroxide, and drying to obtain a cornstalk fiber material adsorbed with ceric oxide nanoparticles; 5, adding the cornstalk fiber material into a normal hexane solution of octadecyltrimethoxysilane to hydrolyze; and 6, doping a flame retardant.
