The invention relates to a CANON (completely autotrophic nitrogenremoval over nitrite) method for sewage with large fluctuating degree of COD/N (chemical oxygen demand/nitrogen), and belongs to the technical field of treatment of wastewater with high content of ammonia and nitrogen. The CANON method comprises the following steps of 1, establishing a CANON process system; 2, determining the CANON process running types under the condition of different CON/N; under different running conditions, inputting the ammonia and nitrogen wastewater of which the COD/N is 0.28 to 1.07 and the ammonia and nitrogen concentration is 600+/-50mg/L into a stable CANON process autotrophic nitrogenremoval reactor which is established in step 1, and determining the optimum running type of the CANON process undercondition of different COD/N, so as to obtain the CANON process running method under the condition of different COD/N. The wastewater with different CON/N can be efficiently and stably treated by theCANON process. The CANON method has the advantages that the better engineering meaning is realized for the optimizing of the CANON autotrophic nitrogenremoval plan for wastewater with different CON/N; the CANON method can be widely applied to the dispersed type sewage nitrogen removal with small amount of sewage and large fluctuating degree of COD/N.
