Abstract

The invention discloses an application of combination of a traditional Chinese medicinal composition and an antibiotic in aspect of preparing medicines for inhibiting inflammatory factors. The inflammatory factors include plasma endotoxin, plasma-nitric oxide and / or plasma tumor necrosis factors; the antibiotic refers to azithromycin; and active ingredients of the traditional Chinese medicinal composition include radix et caulis flemingiae, common anemarrhena rhizome, root of cherokee rose, caulis mahoniae, zanthoxylum dissitum hemsl, caulis spatholobi and radix codonopsis. Through the combined application of the azithromycin and the traditional Chinese medicinal composition which consists of five medicines, namely the radix et caulis flemingiae, the common anemarrhena rhizome, the root of cherokee rose, the caulis mahoniae and the zanthoxylum dissitum hemsl, a good application effect can be achieved in the aspect of inhibiting the inflammatory factors; and based upon a great amount of animal experiments, it proves that the traditional Chinese medicinal composition and the azithromycin can develop a synergistic effect, so as to achieve targeted therapy of infections and inflammations; therefore, a powerful technical support is provided for the new fields of the traditional Chinese medicinal composition and the azithromycin.
