After gavage with the granule for 40 d, fasting blood glucose of mice with alloxan-induced diabetes returns to a value below the normal value 7 mmol/L, and activity of superoxide dismutase in serum of the mice is improved. The granule is prepared through ultrasonic treatment, aided warm water extraction of surface active substances, preparation of blood-glucose-reducing antioxidative active extract and controlling reasonable parameters.
