Abstract

The water treatment flocculant comprises, by weight, 8-15 parts of poly-aluminum ferric silicate sulfate, 3-8 parts of chitosan, 4-10 parts of water glass, 5-8 parts of aluminum sulfate and 5-12 parts of ferric chloride. The components are added into water according to the above ratio and can effectively remove impurities and suspended solids in the water, flocculation is quick and treatment effect is good. The water treatment flocculant is high in removal rate of various metal ions in the sewage and can effectively lower color and turbidity of water so as to let water quality conform to higher requirements. The flocculant is added once during use, and operation process is simplified. The quality of the treated sewage is kept consistent, secondary waste of recoiling and dirt suction is reduced and water and energy are saved. The water treatment flocculant can be widely applied to various types of sewage, such as from steel and chemical industry, power, printing and dyeing and domestic sewage.
