The traditional Chinese medicine is prepared from the following eight traditional Chinese medicines, including peach kernel, curcuma zedoary, radix bupleuri, ternate buttercup root, the seed of cowherb, aspongopus chinensis dallas, ground beeltle and centipede. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) extracting volatile oil from curcuma zedoary and radix bupleuri by using a steam distillation method; (2) decocting dregs left after the volatile oil is extracted from curcuma zedoary and radix bupleuri together with peach kernel, ternate buttercup root and the seed of cowherb in water and extracting, mixing the extracting solution with the filtrate obtained after the volatile oil is extracted in the step (1), and concentrating into extract; (3) grinding aspongopus chinensis dallas, ground beeltle and centipede into fine powder; and (4) adding auxiliary materials into the extract, the fine powder and the volatile oil to prepare tablets or cream paste. The hardness of the tablets can be over 12Kg, the friability is lower than 0.5 percent, the disintegration time limit is reduced from over 60 minutes to less than 40 minutes, the storage period is prolonged from one year to two years, and during the period, the product does not crack or leak oil.
