Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing a micro-expanded graphite anode material of which the expansion times are controllable within 2-10 times. The method comprises the following steps: mixing a battery-grade powder graphite material with an oxidizing agent and an intercalator according to a mass ratio of 1 to (0.05-1.0) to (0.5-10), carrying out oxidization and intercalation for 30-60 minutes at 10-40 DEG C, subsequently filtering at the room temperature to separate solid, washing the solid till the pH value of filtrate is 6-7, drying, subsequently feeding into a horizontal tube type furnace for puffing for 1-30 minutes at 200-800 DEG C in the presence of inert atmosphere, and keeping the temperature, thereby obtaining the micro-expanded graphite material.
