Abstract

The invention provides a size mixing process of ceiba or cotton blended yarn. The method comprises the following steps: adding part of water in a size mixing cistern, starting a high-low-speed stirrer, and then placing talcum powder, low-viscosity modified starch, composite modified starch and polyacrylic acid slurry in a pressure size mixing cistern; adding the rest of water to adjust the size mixing volume, and fastening a top cover of the pressure size mixing cistern; and opening a steam valve for raising the temperature to 110-120 DEG C, automatically closing an admission valve, and smothering slurry. The experiment formula is prepared according to the characteristic of ceiba and cotton blended yarn, and the test on the performance of the formula slurry and sizing experiment are carried out.
