The invention discloses a homopolymer anti-scaling agent synthesis process capable of controlling reaction temperature. The synthesis process comprises the following steps: (a) firstly, preparing a reaction monomer required by the synthesis process; (b) then, weighing and adding a certain amount of the reaction monomer to a reaction container, adding a solvent, and uniformly stirring; (c) adding an initiator to the reaction container; (d) regulating pH value of a reaction system; (e) placing the reaction container in water bath at 73-78 DEGC, and stirring and reacting at a certain speed; (f) cooling and filtering a reaction product mixture; (g) distilling filtered liquid, separating and drying to obtain a target product. The synthesis process disclosed by the invention can be used for realizing successful synthesize of a homopolymer anti-scaling agent, and the synthesized homopolymer is excellent in anti-scaling performance, low in synthesis cost, short in time required and high in conversion rate in the synthesis process; the synthesis process, through controlling reaction temperature in the reaction process, can improve quality of a synthesized product.
