Abstract

The hydrogen sulfide can be directly added into semen in vitro, and the activity of the sperms of clinical asthenospermia patients can be remarkably improved within short time. The hydrogen sulfide also can resist oxidative stress for the sperms cultured in vitro so as to reduce the stress injury of the sperms caused by manual operation and in-vitro culture and maintain the activity level of the sperms. The hydrogen sulfide also can be used for improving the dyszoospermia caused by infection, protecting the spermatogenic structure of testis, maintaining the completion of blood-testis barrier and the synthesis of androgen, reducing the inflammatory level in the testis tissue and the oxidative stress of spermatogenic cells, and reducing the apoptosis of spermatogenic cells caused by infection so as to maintain a normal spermatogenic process, keep the sperm quality and maintain normal fertility of male.
