The edge sealing material comprises raw materials by mass as follows: 50-60 mol% of stannic oxide (SnO), 10-20 mol% of magnesium oxide (MgO), 20-30 mol% of phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) and 0-10 mol% of an oxide additive. The oxide additive is a combination of one or more of silicon dioxide (SiO2), aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and boron trioxide (B2O3). The edge sealing material is pasty at the normal temperature after addition of a solvent, the solvent volatilizes partially at the temperature of 100-150 DEG C, the edge sealing material is in a porous semi-solid state (particle gluing stacking state), the melting point is between 280 DEG C and 600 DEG C, and the edge sealing material presents solid-state glass characteristics after melting cooling.
