Abstract

The invention provides an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) based on an adjustable speed drive (ASD). The UPS comprises a three-phase rectification circuit, a pulse width modulation inversion circuit and a back-up power supply device, wherein the three-phase rectification circuit is provided with an input port and an output port, receives input three-phase power from the input port, converts the input three-phase power into direct current and outputs the direct current through the output port; the pulse width modulation inversion circuit is connected to the output port of the three-phase rectification circuit and converts the direct current output from the output port into alternating current; the back-up power supply device is connected between the input port of the three-phase rectification circuit and the output port of the three-phase rectification circuit, is in parallel connection with the three-phase rectification circuit and is used for receiving the input three-phase power, storing the power and outputting direct current to the pulse width modulation inversion circuit.
