Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing high-quality potassium rhodanide by using a coke oven gas waste liquor with sulfur and cyanogen removed. The method comprises the steps of: first adding an assistant S to the waste liquor to remove cyanide ions in the waste liquor system, wherein the addition is 50%-200% of the molar weight of cyanide ions; adding an assistant E according to the contents of carbonate radicals, bicarbonate radicals and sulfate radicals to remove the three, wherein the addition is 50%-200% of the total molar weight of the carbonate radicals, bicarbonate radicals and sulfate radicals; adding an assistant D and regulating the pH value to 4-10; and conducting concentration and decoloring with activated carbon, and concentrating and crystallizing to obtain a finished product. The method disclosed by the invention has simple process and low cost; and the output product contains more than 99 wt% of potassium rhodanide.
