Abstract

The mono-component emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive for the surface protective film is a polyacrylate emulsion synthesized from butyl acrylate, vinyl acetate, acrylic acid, N-methylolacrylamide and allyl methacrylate by using a pre-emulsification semi-continuous polymerization process. The mono-component emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive provided by the invention overcomes the disadvantage that a conventional pressure-sensitive adhesive for a protective film cannot be used without addition of a cross-linking agent; and the surface protective film prepared from the mono-component emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesive provided by the invention has moderate peeling strength and good adhesion on a PVC section bar, an alumina section bar and sheets of household electrical appliances, leaves no residual adhesive and spots after peeling and does not contaminate the PVC section bar, the alumina section bar and the sheets of household electrical appliances.
