The solution for removal of the formaldehyde can catalyze water and oxygen in air to have redox reaction under the condition with or without light to generate hydroxyl radical with strong oxidizing force, and the hydroxyl radical plays a role in decomposing formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compound) and other organic compounds, so that the effects of antibiosis, mould proof, deodorization, stain repellent, hydrophile, self-cleanness and the like are simultaneously achieved.
