Abstract

The invention provides a method for roasting a surface coating of a metal band. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) heating the metal band by using an induction heater, wherein the heating speed is 5-10 DEG C / s, and the heating temperature is lower than 75 DEG C; and (2) drying the surface coating of the metal band by using a hot air drying system. The method can overcome the defectsof low heating speed of hot air drying and long roasting length, reduce the roasting length, improve the operation stability of the metal band, be beneficial to the uniform coating of a coating film and improve the surface quality of the metal band, and the processed film thickness uniformity is 1.0+ / -0.3g / m2. Evaporated water can be taken away by utilizing hot air blast so as to reduce the probability of water gathering and factors influencing the surface quality of the metal band, and spot defects cannot be generated on the surface of band steel because of condensed water.
