The activated carbon air purifying plate is prepared by the following steps of: uniformly mixing and stirring the adhesive and the organic silicon water repellent; uniformly mixing with the expanded perlite; adding the powdered activated carbon to be uniformly stirred; screening mixed raw materials, wherein the specification of a screen is 0.8-1.5mm; compressing the screened materials into a die to form a blank at the pressure of 5-25MPa; naturally drying a moulded blank; grinding, trimming, engraving, tinting and drying the moulded blank; and packaging after normal temperature. The invention combines the decoration and the air purifying function, beautifies the environment, purifies indoor air, adsorbs sound and preserves the temperature without occupying indoor space.
