Problems solved by technology

First of all, at this temperature, the monomer will be distilled out together with the by-products, resulting in serious waste of raw materials
Secondly, ether bonds are easier to form at this temperature, and the probability of molecular ring formation increases.
Finally, the product is easily decomposed at high temperature, resulting in a decrease in molecular weight and an increase in dispersion

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing isosorbide modified polyester. The method takes dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) or pure terephthalic acid (PTA), glycol and isosorbide as monomers and trivalent bismuth metal as a catalyst to prepare the polyester at enough temperature and pressure through the prior polymerization equipment. Bi (III) is a heavy metal ion with the lowest toxicity, and the nature is very important when polymer is applied to medicaments, human bodies, agriculture and the like. The method uses the trivalent bismuth metal such as trifluoromethanesulfonate as the catalyst, can reduce temperature required by reaction, decrease the loss of raw materials in a system and simultaneously reduce occurrence probability of side reaction, and does not reduce the molecular weight therewith.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a preparation method of polyester, in particular to a preparation method of isosorbide-modified polyester. Background technique [0002] Polyester (PET) is a polymer compound, which is produced by polycondensation of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol to produce polyethylene terephthalate. PET has good fiber-forming properties, mechanical properties, wear resistance, creep resistance, low water absorption and electrical insulation properties. Polyester is mainly used to produce polyester fiber (polyester), and is widely used in light industry, machinery, electronics, food packaging and other industrial fields as non-fiber films, plastics, packaging containers, adhesives, and coating products. However, with the development of society, ordinary polyester can no longer meet the growing needs of people's lives and industrial fields. [0003] The scientific name of isosorbide is 1,4:3,6-dianhydro-D-sorbitol, which can be prepar...
