Abstract

The invention relates to a silyl-containing polyimide liquid crystal alignment film with a large pre-tilt angle and a preparation method thereof. The silyl-containing polyimide liquid crystal alignment film is characterized by being prepared by the following steps and conditions: (1) adding 3-10 mol parts of silyl-containing diamine, 0-7 mol parts of organic diamine and 20-50 mol parts of an organic solvent to a reactor with a stirrer and a thermometer, adding 10 mol parts of tetracarboxylic dianhydride at 0-10 DEG C after dissolving the diamine under the protection of nitrogen, and reacting for 12-24h to obtain polyamic acid solution; (2) coating the polyamic acid solution on ITO glass, and curing at 180-250 DEG C for 1-3h to obtain the silyl-containing polyimide liquid crystal alignmentfilm with the large pre-tilt angle.
