Embodiment Construction

[0047] The technical solution adopted by the present invention will be described in further detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0048] A terminal for testing the real-time transmission service performance of WiMAX network, using multi-threading technology, can create a TCP process and a UDP process, which are used to establish a streaming media session connection and receive streaming media messages respectively; the TCP process includes an RTSP thread , while the UDP process includes a UDP thread, a real-time recording and statistics thread, an RTCP thread and multiple RTP threads.

[0049] The specific module structure of the terminal is as follows: image 3 As shown, it includes a media session module, a UDP message receiving module, and a UDP message processing unit, wherein the UDP message processing unit includes an RTP message processing module, an RTCP message processing module and a record statistics module, and the UDP message receiving modu...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for testing realtime service transmission performance of the WiMAX network, belongs to the wireless broadband access field. In the method, a mobile terminal establishes RTSP media session connection with a streaming media server; the streaming media server receives a session request according to the mobile terminal, determins corresponding coding speed, encapsulates realtime UDP messages, then sends to the mobile terminal through the WiMAX network, the mobile terminal analyzes received UDP messages; when the network connection is time-out, the mobile terminal stops the RTSP media session connection with the streaming media server, calculates performance indexes of the transmission rate, the packet loss rate, time delay and the time delay jitter according to the analysis result of the UDP messages. The invention also discoses a terminal for testing realtime service transmission performance of the WiMAX network. The invention acquires performance indexessuch as the transmission rate, the packet loss rate, time delay and the time delay jitter, etc., under different Qos allocation, improves testability and analyzability.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of wireless broadband access, in particular to a terminal and a method for testing real-time transmission service performance of a WiMAX (World Interoperability for Microwave Access) network. Background technique [0002] WiMAX is a wireless broadband access technology that has emerged in recent years, and its full name is the Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access Standard. WiMAX uses multi-carrier modulation technology to provide high-speed data services, and has the characteristics of high spectrum resource utilization and large coverage. The cost of WiMAX is relatively low, and it can provide convenience, excellent mobile multimedia broadband services and high-speed wireless data transmission for individuals, families and enterprises. [0003] like figure 1 As shown, as an end-to-end reference model, the network structure of the WiMAX system includes at least the mobile terminal MSS (Mobile Service Subrible...
