Abstract

The invention discloses an electronic data flash card accessed by a host computer, composed of flash controller connected with the flash device and input-output interfce circuit. The flash communicates with the host computer using USB interfce circuit. The flash controller comprises an arbitrator for establishing mapping between the logical address and physical bolck address and performing block administrative operation, wherein the block administrative operation comprises: storing the redistributed data in usable block, rearranging the effective data in expired block to the said usable block and resetting the effective data to the usable block and then erasing the expired block to recovery and erasing number loss balance of block. In addition, each flash device is provided with internal buffer for accelerating the block administrative operation.
