The preparing method includes steps: mixing dosages of the attapulgite gasoline desulfurizer, adding nitrate acid for acid-curing, extruding and airing, crushing and sieving, baking and packaging as products. After gasoline contacted sufficiently with the attapulgite gasoline desulfurizer, sulfuret of gasoline absorbed on particles thereof to reduce sulfuret content of gasoline; iorn oxide, alumina, copper oxide and zinc oxide is generated as nitrate after nitrate acid-curing and created chemical reaction with sulfuret of gasoline to further reduce sulfuret content of gasoline. The attapulgite gasoline desulfurizer is suit for desulfuration process of gasoline, diesel oil and aviation kerosene.
