The invention discloses a method and
system for managing promotion positions of a live
broadcasting platform, relating to the field of management of live
broadcasting platforms. The method comprises the following steps of: selecting live
broadcasting classes by a
server, and configuring appointed display graphs as default cover graphs for live broadcasting rooms to be promoted in the live broadcasting classes; combining the multiple live broadcasting classes into one new class, screening live broadcasting rooms to be promoted in the new class, and delivering the live broadcasting rooms in appointed promotion positions; when the fact that advertisements need to be delivered is judged, uploading the advertisements in the selected promotion positions, setting the delivery time and the
revocation time of the advertisements, increasing uploading records of the advertisements in a pre-set
database, and increasing one cache; and, if the cache is successfully increased, judging whether the advertisements take effect or not, if so, displaying the advertisements in the promotion positions, and if not, displaying the default cover graphs in the promotion positions. By means of the method and the
system disclosed by the invention, the overall
exposure amount of new anchors can be obviously increased; the advertisements and new anchor display graphs can be switched automatically and mutually; and managers do not need to artificially operate.
