Shelf apparatus for showcase

In a shelf apparatus for a showcase, which is provided with a shelf support for supporting a shelf plate on which commodities are placed so as to be slidable in a depth direction, the shelf apparatus is constructed so that the shelf support is provided with a locking plate extending in a width direction of the shelf plate, and the shelf plate is provided with a hooking member which is formed with a steel rod member which extends in the depth direction and whose rear portion further extends along the locking plate on a back surface side of the shelf plate, and also which enables the rear portion to be locked to and unlocked from the locking plate by being swayed vertically. When the shelf plate is held on the shelf supports, the rear portion of the hooking member is locked to the locking plate. By doing this, the shelf plate does not slide forward. When the shelf plate is pulled out forward, the hooking member is unlocked from the locking plate by being swayed vertically. By doing this, the shelf plate can be pulled out forward.

Adjustable computer stand

This invention is an adaptable computer stand designed to support a laptop computer or keyboard over a user's lap while sitting in a chair or bed. The stand includes a wide, low profile base designed to fit under a living room chair commonly found in a home. Attached perpendicularly to the base is a vertically aligned, fixed pole. Attached to the upper end of the fixed pole is an adjustable, L-shaped extension pole designed to be selectively raised or lowered on the fixed pole, rotate, and then lock in a desired position. Attached to the upper end of the extension pole is a length-adjustable, rotating extension arm. The stand also includes a planar support member used to support a keyboard or laptop computer. Attached to the bottom surface of the support member is a locking universal joint, which, during assembly, is connected to the distal end of the extension arm. The universal joint enables the support member to tilt and rotate as desired.

Modular multi-wall tray retrofitable to a wheelchair

A robust multi-wall tray which is easily retrofitable to a wheelchair. Due to the structural design, the tray is lightweight but yet more rigid than conventional solid wheelchair trays. The multi-wall tray can be secured to a wheelchair with conventional means or with several novel means that provide a smooth work surface free of screws or Velcro™. A novel prior art adjustable tray support structure can also be integrated into the multi-wall tray to allow the system to mount robustly to the frame of a wheelchair and also allow the tray to fold away to the side of the wheelchair when not in use. Additionally, the multi-wall tray can have a sealed perimeter to create an enclosure for protecting electronic devices. The design can support electronic devices for computer assisted living while also providing a tray work surface for reading, writing or eating.

Pull-out display shelf

A pull-out display shelf assembly having spaced-apart support structures mounted on gondola uprights, for example, and supporting a display shelf for movement between fully retracted and extended positions, with locking means for securing the shelf structure in any set position. The locking mechanism includes vertically rotatable square locking bars freely movable in a locking track when aligned therewith, and having locking engagement with the track when rotated out of alignment with the track. Simplified and improved support structures are formed of heavy gauge sheet metal, bent into an L-shaped configuration for strength and rigidity and formed to provide elongated locking slots in horizontal bottom panels of the L-shaped supports. Component parts are minimized and rigidity and locking action are improved. Stabilizing tabs at the inner ends of the support brackets minimize lateral flexing of the brackets when the shelf is released for movement relative to the support brackets.

Quick crank adjustable height table

A table or desk assembly (20) includes a base having a pair of legs (24), a worksurface (22) supported by and between the pair of legs, and a rapid, counterbalanced height adjustment mechanism interposed between the legs and the worksurface for providing adjustment in the elevation of the worksurface. The height adjustment mechanism includes a pair of high lead rotatable threaded rods (32) engaged with a mating stationary threaded member (33) associated with each leg. A handle (36) is engageable with one of the threaded rods for imparting rotation to the threaded rod, and a synchronizing arrangement, such as a sprocket (38) and chain system (40), is interconnected with the other of the threaded rods for rotating the threaded rods together. A lift assist or counterbalancing mechanism applies an upward bias, such as to the worksurface, to counteract the weight of the worksurface and any loads supported by the worksurface. The counterbalancing mechanism may be in the form of a cylinder assembly (54) having a biased retractable and extendible member, which is interconnected with each of the threaded rods via a cable (66) and pulley (68) arrangement. Alternatively, the lift assist or counterbalancing mechanism may be in the form of constant force spring arrangements (76), each of which has an extendible and retractable member. A retainer arrangement (90) is interposed between the crank or handle member (36) and the worksurface, for preventing inadvertent rotation of the threaded rod and thereby maintaining the elevation of the worksurface.

Adjustable shelf

A shelf stores items and provides for organized and attractive display with ease of item access. Conforming to a defined physical environment or variable storage space optimally requires the shelf to provide for both vertical and horizontal adjustment. Here this is accomplished by a pair of legs that are telescopic (to reduce size) and can be locked at a height (vertical adjustment) by use of a pawl, pin, screw or other fastener known in the art. The shelf includes a planar surface that is comprised of a shelf portion, which is supported on each distal end by a leg extension. The leg extensions are mounted to the upper area of the legs. The leg extensions are received by the shelf portion, being movably mounted thereto. This allows for horizontal (width) adjustment. An end cover can be used to provide a flat surface that is consistent with the upper surface of the shelf portion. Feet are added to provide a more solid footing, the feet being removable and providing a mounting tab at the end of the legs and a mounting tab receiver at the opposite end of the legs. This allows for multiple shelves to be securely mounted one on the other.

Table, especially conference and office table

The invention relates to a table which has variable dimensions, especially a long length, and is mainly used in offices and conferences. The base of the table is supported by feet (6) and carries table leaves (1,1) which are brought together at the longitudinal sides thereof, and an insert (8,81) which can be inserted in-between said leaves, can have different configurations and can be used as a support for various structures. The base of said table comprises at least two transversal supports (2) provided with a central sunken channel region (20) from which two extension arms (21) respectively extended in opposite directions, the feet (6) being mounted on said arms, and lateral struts (4) supporting the table leaves (1,1) being arranged on the outside. The transversal supports (2) are interspaced in a parallel manner, perpendicularly in relation to the longitudinal direction of the table. An upwardly open sheet metal channel (3) having a preferably trapeziform cross-section is fixed in the longitudinal direction of the table on the two transversal supports (2). Containers (9′) for CPUs are suspended below the table in free positions on the lateral struts (4). The particular advantages of said table are essentially the stability, even for a long structure, and relatively low construction costs. The freedom in the dimensioning, the various inserts (8,81) and the differrent structures create a design which is adapted to individual requirements.
