A multi-layer cover for an electronic device having one or more of a sensor panel, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, and a display device can include an outer hardcoat, a structural layer, an IR transmissive ink layer, a mask layer, and a backside hardcoat. The backside hardcoat can reduce cover warpage, enable full surface lamination of the cover to the sensor panel, prevent bubbles from forming in transparent windows in the cover, enable a wider range of functional inks to be applied in various layering orders to allow certain types of light to pass through while blocking others, and hide the sensors to provide a seamless, uncluttered visual appearance.

A pump configuration includes the single VFD, the single shaft electric motor, and the single hydraulic pump mounted on the single pump trailer. A controller associated with the single VFD and is mounted on the single pump trailer. The controller monitors operation parameters associated with an operation of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system as each component of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system operates to determine whether the operation parameters deviate beyond a corresponding operation parameter threshold. Each of the operation parameters provides an indicator as to an operation status of a corresponding component of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system. The controller initiates corrected actions when each operation parameter deviates beyond the corresponding operation threshold. Initiating the corrected actions when each operation parameter deviates beyond the corresponding operation threshold maintains the operation of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system.

An electric driven hydraulic fracking system is disclosed. A pump configuration that includes the single VFD, the single shaft electric motor, and the single hydraulic pump that is mounted on the single pump trailer. The single VFD converts the electric power of at least 13.8 kV to a VFD rated voltage level of at least 4160V and drives the single shaft electric motor at the VFD voltage level of up to 4160V to control the operation of the single shaft electric motor and the single hydraulic pump. The single shaft electric motor drives the single hydraulic pump with the rotation at the rated RPM level of at least 750 RPM. The single hydraulic pump continuously pumps the fracking media into the well at the HP level of at least 5000 HP. The single hydraulic pump operates on a continuous duty cycle to continuously pump the fracking media at the HP level of at least 5000 HP.

An electronic device with a body having a first side, a second side a distance from the first side, and a third side between the first and second side. Portions define a space extending from the first side to the second side across the third side. A sliding cover can be fitted in the space. A first housing part is detachably attachable to the electronic device and can cover at least part of the space when the housing part is attached to the electronic device. The first housing part can restrain the sliding cover from escaping the space when attached to the electronic device. The electronic device can allow, when the first housing part is detached from the electronic device, entry and removal of the sliding cover to and from the space. A cover system detachably attaches a sliding cover to an electronic device.

A single-piece top surface display and integrated front cover for an electronic device. In one embodiment, the cover comprises a thin, flexible, transparent layer coupled with a supporting structure. The flexible layer is supported above a display screen which is coupled with pressure activated sensors located under the display screen. The cover is dust-free, waterproof, and has a flat outer surface that is free of any steps or indentations. Users input data by applying pressure on the cover which causes the display screen to deflect and activate the sensors. The pressure exerted on the sensors is triangulated to register the position of the user input. In another embodiment, the cover is transparent, rigid, and directly contacts the pressure activated sensors which are located in front of the display screen or in the housing behind it. When pressure is applied to the cover, the cover deflects and activates the sensors. In both embodiments, an accelerometer identifies valid input events.

A motor control center (MCC) is provided. The MCC includes a power and data distribution bus comprising a plurality of conductive bars for distributing power and data signals within the MCC. In one embodiment, the plurality of conductive bars is configured to receive and distribute three-phase power from an external power source. The MCC may also include a device configured to receive power and data from the plurality of conductive bars. Devices and methods for distributing power and data to such devices within an MCC are also disclosed.

A venting system is described for use with electrical enclosures in which hot gasses may be generated by certain types of fault. The venting assembly may be mounted to a surface of the enclosure, such as adjacent to an aperture formed in the enclosure door. The vent assembly includes a series of louvers that divert all gasses flowing from the enclosure and provide no direct path for gas. The vent assembly thus provides unimpeded flow of hot gasses during a fault event to divert and cool the gasses before exiting the enclosure. The vent assembly may be configured as a cartridge-type insert mounted either inside or outside the enclosure.

A mobile communication device includes a display assembly that may be extended from the housing of the mobile communication device to provide a larger display surface for displaying information to a user of the mobile communication device. A system and method for connecting supply power to motor control components includes use of a motor control center subunit with moveable supply power contacts. After a motor control center subunit is secured into a motor control center compartment, the supply power contacts may be advanced to engage supply power buses. For disconnection, the supply power contacts may be retracted and isolated from the buses before physical removal of the subunit.

A modular pump control panel assembly consisting of multiple compartments arranged so as to allow service of each individual compartment without exposure to line voltages while still maintaining operation of the pumping system. The assembly includes a plurality of motor controller compartments each including a lockable handle operator that that is interlocked with its corresponding compartment door. The handle operators are mechanically connected to remote disconnecting devices via flexible cables or mechanical linkage. A key feature/distinction of this invention is that the disconnecting devices are not located in their corresponding motor controller compartments, so that when the handle operator is switched to the OFF position there are no components (e.g. disconnecting device and/or its supply conductors) within the motor controller compartment that remains energized by line voltage.

A metal clad switchgear assembly comprising multiple compartments defined within an electrical enclosure is provided. The compartments interchangeably accommodate electrical components, for example, current transformers, a circuit breaker, a control power transformer, an epoxy encapsulated potential transformer, etc., electrical cables, and bus bars in predetermined positions for allowing front access and/or rear access to them. One or more compartments are configured for enabling the electrical cables to enter into and/or exit out from the electrical enclosure for allowing front and/or rear access to the electrical cables. A mounting block assembly is positioned in one or more of the compartments for mounting, enclosing, and providing front access to the electrical components. One or more infrared windows and inspection windows are positioned on a front side and/or a rear side of the switchgear assembly for scanning and providing a visual indication of the electrical components, the electrical cables, and the bus bars.

The present invention relates to a system for protecting and controlling main-circuit components of an electricity transmission substation. The system includes devices for digital data output, protection-and-controlling, component controlling-and-monitoring, and communication. The digital data output devices input analogue AC electric values and output digital data. The protection-and-controlling devices input the data from the digital data output devices, and further control, monitor, and protect the substation main-circuit components. The component controlling-and-monitoring devices receive commands from the protection-and-controlling devices or from the substation controlling-and-monitoring equipment, and further control and monitor the substation main-circuit components. The devices for digital data output, the protection-and-controlling, and component controlling-and-monitoring are disposed near or within their corresponding substation main-circuit components.

A compact display module for use in electronic devices includes a flat display having a front side with a display surface, and a carrier frame supporting the display. A metal frame is arranged over the front side with an aperture at the display surface. The metal frame has a flat gasket-receiving portion which is parallel to the display surface and extends around the aperture.

A method of tapping a high voltage transmission line for input into a power distribution substation and system for the conversion of the tapped high voltage electricity to medium voltage electricity are disclosed. The method comprises the steps of dividing the transmission line and attaching the conductors to the primaries of at least two transformers via a series connected first disconnect switch, second disconnect switch and circuit breaker. A bus interconnects the first disconnect switch and the second disconnect switch and the bus of the first transformer bay is connected to the bus of the second transformer bay using a circuit breaker. The system comprises an insulator dividing the transmission line into separate conducting lines and attaching them to the primaries of at least two transformers via a series connected first disconnect switch, second disconnect switch and circuit breaker. A bus interconnects the first disconnect switch and the second disconnect switch and the bus of the first transformer bay is connected to the bus of the second transformer bay using a circuit breaker. The secondaries of said power transformer output the medium voltage electricity.

A system, in one embodiment, includes a power distribution center having an enclosure with an access door configured to move between a closed position and an open position. The system also includes a monitoring system configured to monitor operational parameters inside the enclosure. Also, the system includes an entry control system coupled to the monitoring system, wherein the entry control system is configured to lock the access door if the operation parameters are indicative of a potentially hazardous condition inside the enclosure.
