Abstract

The invention discloses a bioelectrode and application of the bioelectrode in an artificial wetland. The bioelectrode comprises a pipe body; a negative pole; a positive pole; an argil basin, which isarranged at the upper end of the pipe body, wherein the negative pole extends into the argil basin, and the positive pole bypasses the argil basin and extends into the pipe body; and a protective cover, which is arranged at the upper end of the pipe body and is positioned above the argil basin. According to the bioelectrode, a distance between the positive pole and the negative pole is shortened;the argil basin is arranged between the positive pole and the negative pole and serves as an interlayer, and the advantage of oxidation-reduction potential gradient is improved while an inner circuitis allowed to be in an on state; and long-term efficient degradation of organic matters in an anaerobic zone of the positive pole is achieved by reducing the internal resistance of a microbial fuel cell. When the bioelectrode is used for constructed wetland sewage treatment, the surface load of COD can be improved by 30% or more.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a biological electrode and its application in artificial wetlands. Background technique [0002] Constructed wetland is an ecological sewage treatment system that simulates the principle of natural wetland, artificially constructed and controlled operation. Through the synergistic effect of wetland plants, artificial fillers and microorganisms attached to the surface, the sewage is purified, and the main pollutants COD, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, etc. The removal rate can reach more than 98%, and it also has a good removal effect on trace organic matter, sulfate, heavy metals and other pollutants. At the same time, it has the advantages of low operating cost and simple operation and maintenance. However, the removal of organic matter in constructed wetlands is mainly achieved through the microbial oxidation reaction in the upper aerobic zone of the wetland, while the decomposition of organic matter in the lower anaerob...
