According to the method, nitric acid solution, ammonia solution, diammoniumhydrogen citrate solution, editpotassium cyanide solution, dithizone stock solution, lead standard solution, lead standard working solution and dithizone working solution are prepared to carry out adetection test; a spectrophotometer, a 125 ml separating funnel, a 250 ml flask or a 250 ml conical flask and an electronic balance are prepared to fit the detection work; after a sample is treated through a wet resolution method or a dry ashing method, the sample is measured; and finally, the contents of lead in various foods are obtained through a formula. The method for detecting the contents of leads in foods is capable of accurately calculating and detecting liquid foods through the wet resolution method, and visually inspecting the color changes in the foods after the organic matters inthe liquid foods are completely decomposed and subsequent heating is completed, so as to carry out treatment for the next step more rapidly and more timely during the detection and then prevent the measurement results from deviations.
