Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing a water dispersion type cathode epoxy electrophoretic paint. The electrophoretic paint is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40-50 parts of water-soluble epoxy resin, 20 parts of water, 10 parts of kaolin, 5 parts of carbon black, 2 parts of a dispersant, 0.5 part of a defoaming agent and 0.3 part of a catalyst. The method comprises the following steps: introducing a hydrophilic group into a molecular chain of epoxy resin, dissociating kation from water, and carrying out dispersion emulsification to obtain water dispersion type epoxy resin; mixing and stirring the water dispersion type epoxy resin with the kaolin, the carbon black, the catalyst, the dispersant and the defoaming agent for a preset time to obtain uniform slurry; grinding the uniform slurry till a uniformly distributed particle size and preset fineness to obtain the electrophoretic paint. By adopting embodiments of the invention, the electrophoreticpaint which is good in water dispersibility can be prepared.
