Abstract

The invention discloses a rapid identification method for the ploidy of a strawberry chromosome. The rapid identification method comprises the steps: taking a mutation-induced strawberry obtained by inducing a wild forest strawberry as a test material and a diploid wild forest strawberry as a contrast; preparing a test material stained cell nucleus suspension from the test material, and preparinga contrast stained cell nucleus suspension from a contrasted leaf; and detecting the two suspensions on a flow cytometer, analyzing the ploidy of the test material by utilizing a histogram for the relative content of DNA, and screening a ploidy-variant individual plant. The invention simultaneously provides a strawberry chromosome doubling method realized by using the rapid identification method for the ploidy of the strawberry chromosome, and the chromosome of the diploid wild forest strawberry is doubled by using oryzalin in the method. By using the method disclosed by the invention, a strawberry doubling progeny can be effectively obtained.
