The material is prepared from, by weight, 20-25 parts of POE resin, 3-5 parts of POP resin, 5-10 parts ofmetallocene-catalyzed linear low-density polyethylene, 5-7 parts of maleic anhydride grafted POE, 0.3-0.5 part of antioxidant, 30-40 parts of aluminum hydroxide, 5-8 parts of carbon forming agent and5-10 parts of organosilicone flame retardant. The invention further provides a preparation method of the cold-resistant, low-smoke and halogen-free flame retardant material. The method comprises the following steps of S1, separately weighing all the raw materials according to the weight values of the formula respectively, and adding the raw materials into a high mixing machine for mixing and plasticizing; S2, transferring the mixture into a twin-screw granulation machine for extrusion processing, and conveying the mixture to a single-screw extrusion granulation machine for extrusion granulation; S3, conducting air-cooled conveying and packaging.
