Abstract

The invention discloses a compound clarifying agent for high aluminosilicate glass. The compound clarifying agent comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 39 to 63 percent of sodium nitrate; 21 to 46 percent of sodium chloride; 10 to 26 percent of cerium dioxide. The compound clarifying agent comprises the sodium nitrate (NaNO3), sodium chloride (NaCl) and cerium dioxide (CeO2) with certain contents, can obviously improve the clarifying speed of glass, obviously reduce the quantity of minute bubbles (d is smaller than 0.2 micrometer), and further improve the light transmittance of glass, and is green and environmentally friendly, and particularly applicable to high aluminosilicate glass and high aluminosilicate glass containing boron. The compound clarifying agent canrealize rapid and thorough bubble elimination at an optimum proportion, thereby reducing the production cost and improving the production efficiency.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of glass production, in particular to a composite clarifier for high aluminosilicate glass. Background technique [0002] Bubbles in glass are one of the main defects of glass products. A small amount of bubbles will directly reduce the mechanical properties of the glass. If the bubbles continue to increase, the optical properties of the glass will also deteriorate. In the production process of glass, clarifiers are commonly used to achieve the purpose of eliminating air bubbles in the glass. And any raw material that can generate gas by pyrolysis (gasification) during the glass melting process or reduce the viscosity of the glass liquid to promote the elimination of bubbles in the glass liquid becomes a clarifying agent. Refining agents are required throughout the melting stages of glass. [0003] According to the mechanism of glass clarification, it can be divided into: oxygen clarification, sulfur clarification, ...
