A discrimination method, employing the above device, for the alignment of the 2*2 emitting light source specifically includes the steps: enabling the 2*2 emitting light source to be focused onto the photosensitive surface of the four-quadrant detector through the lens; converting a received optical signal into a four-way electrical signal through the four-quadrant detector; carrying out a series of processing operations of the obtained four-way electrical signal, and then transmitting the signal to the signal processing unit;carrying gout the comparison analysis of the amplified four-way electrical signal in the signal processing unit, and judging whether the light beams are aligned or not according to the intensity of the energy of the four-way electrical signal; controlling the two-dimensional motor to operate according to a judgment result; enabling the two-dimensional motor to drive the four-quadrant detector tooperate, so as to adjust the position of the light beam array and to realize the alignment of the 2*2 emitting light source.
