Abstract

The invention relates to an activator and a red mud-fly ash cementing material. The activator is composed of poly-activated aluminum, NaOH, sodium silicate, and cement according to mass percentages asfollows: 30-35% of the poly-activated aluminum, 10-20% of the NaOH, 10-20% of the sodium silicate, and 35-40% of the cement. The activator is mixed with the red mud-fly ash cementing material according to weight percentage of 0.5-1.5% in order to increase 7-day strength by 15-35% and 28-day strength by 30-50%. The activator can effectively stimulate the activity of the red mud-fly ash cementing material and improve the strength thereof, achieves an object of consuming the industrial wastes, red mud and fly ash, at a large scale, and has great social and economic benefit.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of industrial solid waste treatment, in particular to an activator and red mud fly ash gelling material. Background technique [0002] Red mud is a red muddy strong alkaline solid waste that remains after the aluminum industry extracts alumina from bauxite. Its main component is SiO 2 , CaO, Fe 2 o 3 、Al 2 o 3 、Na 2 O, TiO 2 、K 2 Oxide and other oxides, in addition to burning components and trace non-ferrous metals. Red mud is divided into Bayer red mud, sintering red mud or combined red mud due to different production processes. Generally, for every ton of alumina produced, 1.0 to 2.0 tons of red mud will be produced incidentally. "In order to improve the comprehensive utilization rate and technical level of red mud, and reduce the impact of red mud stockpiling on the environment and safety", in 2010, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology jo...
