The impermeable material provided by the invention is prepared from ordinary Portland cement, bentonite, coal ash, polyvinyl alcohol, aluminum chloride, polycarboxylic acid high-performance water reducer and sodium carbonate, wherein polyvinyl alcohol and aluminum chloride are used for jointly modifying bentonite.
