Abstract

The invention provides application of rhodiola rosea oligomer procyanidine in preparing a medicine for treating atherosclerosis diseases, application in preparing medicines for reducing serum fat, application in preparing medicines for reducing serum oxidative stress, application in preparing medicines for relaxing blood vessels and application in preparing medicines for treating fatty livers. Experiment results show that the rhodiola rosea oligomer procyanidine has an effect similar to that of curcumin in relieving atherosclerosis and fatty livers of rats suffering from atherosclerosis, has an effect similar to the curcumin in improving serum of rats suffering from atherosclerosis and blood lipid metabolism of livers, has an effect similar to the curcumin in improving serum oxidative stress of the rats suffering from atherosclerosis, and has an effect similar to the curcumin in improving serum nitric oxide systems of the rats suffering from atherosclerosis.
