Abstract

The invention discloses a decarburizing process for waste steel resmelting. The process comprises the following steps: (1) a burden feeding quantity is calculated according to components of a prepared burden; (2) the burden is sampled to analyze if the carbon content is excessive after melting down; (3) if the carbon content is excessive, the quantity of gas cutting slag is calculated according to removal of 0.03-0.05 of carbons in each kg of gas cutting slag; (4) when the temperature of molten steel in a furnace reaches above 1550 DEG C, the gas cutting slag is fed in batches for synchronously stirring to prevent acute boiling; (5) when the carbon content in the molten steel is still not lower than 0.090 wt%, and the oxygen content is not beyond 350 ppm, the top gun oxygen blowing is performed for the molten steel to forcedly decarburize; (6) the molten steel is naturally decarburized by 15-17 min; and (7) after the carbon content of the molten steel is qualified, broken glass is added to cover the molten steel; and after the temperature of the molten steel is lowered to reach the pouring requirements, the tapping is performed. The decarburizing process for waste steel resmelting performs decarburization by different modes according to the carbon content of the molten steel, is optimized, improves the decarburizing effect, and cannot increase the deoxidation burden.
