The invention further relates to a method for preserving pig semen by utilizing the device. The method comprises the following steps: removing upper seminal plasma of the fresh pig semen through a centrifugal machine and then diluting the upper seminal plasma with a diluent. The semen preservation tube is put in the closed container, and the closed container is covered with the rubber plug with a valve, and the connecting tube is connected with the vacuum pump with a vacuum meter; the vacuum pump is started to pump air out of the closed container.
