Problems solved by technology

In reality, due to the mutual interference between non-motor vehicle and pedestrian mixed traffic flow, the setting effect of shared lane is not ideal
Especially at the starting point of the shared road, affected by obstacles such as pedestrians crossing the street and road isolation piers, the proportion of non-motorized vehicles choosing the shared road is low, and it is easy to illegally drive into the motorized lane, resulting in serious mixed traffic between vehicles and non-motor vehicles. The traffic capacity and service level of motor vehicles at intersections, and pose a great safety hazard to non-motor vehicle travelers who drive illegally

Embodiment

[0084] Taking the pedestrian-bicycle shared exit at an actual intersection as an example, the current situation of the shared exit is shown in Figure 5, and the road traffic data of the shared exit obtained according to the on-site traffic survey is shown in Table 4.

[0085] Table 4 Dynamic and static traffic data of an actual intersection

[0086]

[0087] Step 1: Determine the service perception level of the shared road segment and calculate the number of comprehensive obstacles

[0088] Comparing with Table 1, comprehensively considering all reference factors, it can be seen that the service perception level of the shared channel is level 2, namely:

[0089] x e4 =2.

[0090] Referring to the standard obstacle conversion coefficient in Table 2, determine the comprehensive number of obstacles at the exit of the shared road as follows:

[0091] x b2 =2×0.3+0×1.0+0×3.0+0×3.0=0.6

[0092] Step 2: Calculate the linear density of pedestrians, non-motorized vehicles and m...

Abstract

The invention discloses an optimization design method of the exit ramp of pedestrian-bicycle shared road at the crossings in cities with an aim to increase the probability of use of shared roads by non-motor vehicles, reduce the interference between pedestrians, bicycles, and non-motor vehicles at the crossings, and ensure the favorable traffic capacity and service level and conditions of the crossings. First of all, the linear density of different traveling modes is calculated according to the flow of pedestrians, non-motor vehicles and motor vehicles at the exit ramp of non-motor vehicles at the crossings as well as the width of shared roads, then the service perception grade of shared roads and the general number of obstacles are decided according to the state of leveling of shared roads, number of pedestrians staying at the exit, and number of obstacles including vehicles parking on the road side, and news stands on the road side, and finally the selection probability model of electric bicycles and bicycles is substituted in to determine the probability of use of shared roads by electric bicycles and bicycles. If the selection probability is smaller than the expected value, the form of exit ramp of the shared road shall be optimized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of urban traffic planning and design, and relates to a traffic optimization design method for pedestrian-bicycle shared road exits at urban intersections. Background technique [0002] With the rapid growth of motor vehicle travel, under the constraints of limited road resources, slow traffic on newly built and rebuilt roads has gradually become the object of compression, and a new form of road resource allocation that combines sidewalks and bicycle lanes has emerged—"pedestrian-bicycle" Shared Road” (referred to as Shared Road). A complete shared road segment starts at the exit road at the upstream intersection and ends at the entry road at the downstream intersection. In reality, due to the mutual interference between non-motor vehicle and pedestrian mixed traffic flow, the setting effect of shared lane is not ideal. Especially at the starting point of the shared road, affected by obstacles such as pedestrians cro...
