The method comprises the steps of first establishing a micro-distance video grayscale image database; then establishing a corresponding relationship between each substance and each grayscale value interval in the database; then counting the number of pixels in each grayscale value interval which represents each substance in the micro-distance video grayscale image and establishing a relationship with the content or form of the corresponding subtance; and finally, determining apractical actual characteristic parameter of a to-be-detected soil body based on the abovementioned relationship, and further determining a development state of the soil body.
