The invention provides a steam generator comprising an evaporation chamber, a water inlet, a water level control box, a steam pipe, a steam dry distillation heater, a steam outlet and an alcohol-based combustion system, wherein the alcohol-based combustion system is located below the evaporation chamber and is composed of an alcohol-based furnace end and a draught fan connected with the alcohol-based furnace end through a pipeline; the water inlet is communicated to the evaporation chamber after being connected with the water level control box through a pipeline; the steam pipe is communicated with the evaporation chamber, and the connecting height is higher than the height of the highest water level inside the evaporation chamber; the steam pipe, the steam dry distillation heater and the steam outlet are communicated in sequence; and the steam dry distillation heater is located below the evaporation chamber and above the alcohol-based furnace end.
