The modified polyphenylene sulfide resin is a combination of the following components in parts by weight: 65-85 parts of polyphenylene sulfide resin, 0.05-0.6 part of a chain extender, 0.5-1 part of an end capping agent, 0.1-0.7 part of a crosslinking agent, 3-20 parts of low-molecular-weight polymer, 2-10 parts of a toughening agent, 1-5 parts of a reinforcing agent, 1-6 parts of a lubricating agent and 0.1-0.7 part of a heat stabilizer.
