Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for separating fluorine ions and low-molecular-weight organic acids by an ion-chromatographic-column switching method. The system comprises a sample injector, a six-way valve, a six-way valve switcher, an ion-exclusion column, a receiving pipe, a negative-ion exchange column, a liquid conveying pump, an electric-conductivity detector and a waste-liquid bottle, wherein the sample injector is connected with the six-way valve switcher which is connected with a liquid-phase pump and the ion-exclusion column; the six-way valve is connected with the receiving pipe, the liquid conveying pump and the negative-ion exchange column; and then the negative-ion exchange column is connected with a suppressor, the electric-conductivity detector and the waste-liquid bottle in sequence. The system and the method disclosed by the invention have the advantages that by use of the in-series connection of the conventional negative-ion exchange column and the ion-exclusion column, accurate quantification of the fluorine ions can be realized, the matrix interference in determination is reduced, online pretreatment of samples is realized and the artificial error and the manual labor are reduced; and the problem of interference of organic acids when conventional ion chromatography is used for determining the fluorine ions currently is solved and the independence of detection on the chromatographic column is reduced.
