Abstract

The invention provides a device for purifying sewage by utilizing a horizontal subsurface flow constructed wetland. The device comprises a horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge, the horizontal subsurface flow constructed wetland, a nano aerated coagulation-micro-vortex flocculation device and a three-stage backwashing and screening device. The invention also discloses a method for treating the sewage by utilizing the device. The device has high treatment intensity, can adapt to sewage with different hydraulic loads, has better treatment effects on the sewage with higher volatility, deeply removes organic suspended substances and impurities in water, adsorbs inorganic harmful substances, simultaneously oxidizes residual toxic pollutants into low-toxicity or nontoxic small molecular substances, reduces the operating cost and improves the effluent effects.
