Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: atomizing the tetramethylsilane, then sending into a hearth for sufficient combustion, trapping the white carbon black from combustion products through a trap, and finally discharging tail gas into the atmosphere. The preparation device needed by the method comprises a combustor, a storage tank, a delivery pump, an atomization device, a forced draught blower, the hearth, a gas cooler, the trap, an induced draft fan and a chimney. The method combusts the tetramethylsilane (C4H12Si) to obtain the white carbon black, the temperature is much lower than 1,800 DEG C, the equipment requirement is also reduced, the energy is effectively saved, and the cost is saved. The products include the white carbon black, water and carbon dioxide, the method is relatively environmental-friendly, and the produced white carbon black has a good quality.
