The gene promoter has the advantages that the WUS1 gene promoter is obtained by cloning, the condition that the promoter can promote a target gene to be expressed in root, stipule, leaf and stem of rice is proved, and condition that the efficiency of expression of the target gene driven by the promoter is equivalent to that of (CaMV) 35S promoter is indicated by comparing with positive contrast of a transformed pCAMBIA1301 carrier. The corn WUS1 gene promoter is a new promoter applied to plant genetic engineering and derived from plant, and has strong biosecurity. The cloning of the promoter has important reference value as to research of a corn growth mechanism at the same time.
