Abstract

The invention discloses a method and electrolytic oxidation device for detecting a film layer on the surface of metal. The method specifically comprises the following steps: (1) pretreating the surface of metal to be detected; (2) preparing alkaline silicate electrolyte; and (3) carrying out plasma electrolytic oxidation. The electrolytic device comprises a direct-current power supply, a data acquisition and processing system and a plasma electrolytic oxidation tank, wherein the output current of the direct-current power supply is 0-2.5A and the output voltage thereof is 0-700V; the positive electrode of the direct-current power supply is connected with a sample to be detected and the negative electrode thereof is connected with an auxiliary electrode; the output current and voltage signals of the direct-current power supply are transmitted to the data acquisition and processing system via a data line; and the sample to be detected and the auxiliary electrode are placed in the plasma electrolytic oxidation tank.
