Embodiment 1

[0158] Charge acrylic acid, sodium acrylate, and water into a 2 L separable flask. The ratio of acrylic acid / sodium acrylate is 50 / 50 (molar ratio). Ammonium persulfate as a polymerization initiator, potassium hydrogensulfite as a polymerization accelerator, and sodium hypophosphite as a chain transfer agent were added thereto, and polymerization was performed at a polymerization initiation temperature of 20° C. for 10 hours. The obtained agar-like gel was minced, dehydrated with ethanol (water content in slices after ethanol dehydration: 35%), and dried by hot blowing at 210° C. under a nitrogen stream for a whole day.

[0159] β-Hydroxypropionic acid in the polymer was extracted with an aqueous acetonitrile solution, and quantitatively measured by HPLC. UV detection was performed at 218 nm at a column temperature of 40°C using a 0.1% phosphoric acid aqueous solution as an eluent and SHODEX KC-811 (manufactured by Showa Denko K.K.) as a column. As a result, β-hydroxypropion...

Embodiment 2

[0164] Charge sodium acrylate and water into a 2 L separable flask. Ammonium persulfate as a polymerization initiator, potassium hydrogensulfite as a polymerization accelerator, and sodium hypophosphite as a chain transfer agent were added thereto, and polymerization was performed at a polymerization initiation temperature of 10° C. for 15 hours. The resulting agar-like gel was minced and dried by hot blowing at 50°C for a whole day.

[0165] When the content of β-hydroxypropionic acid in the polymer was quantitatively measured in the same manner as above, it was 110 ppm.

Embodiment 3

[0170] Sodium acrylate-N-vinylacetamide copolymer was polymerized by aqueous phase polymerization (copolymerization ratio: sodium acrylate / N-vinylacetamide=40 / 60 mass ratio). The obtained agar-like gel (water content: 75%) was dried by heat blowing at 200° C. for a whole day and formed into a powder. The powder is then purified by supercritical fluid using gaseous carbon dioxide. Supercritical CO to be produced by Showa Tansan Co., LTD 2 An extraction unit (standard type) is used for purification. The concentration of β-hydroxypropionic acid before purification was 6700 ppm.

[0171] As process conditions, 100 g of polymer was charged into a 500 mL extractor and 1000 NL of gaseous carbon dioxide was passed through for 1 hour. Make it pass only once under the conditions of 40°C and 30MPa. Since the copolymer is a fine powder, gaseous carbon dioxide was passed above and below the extractor to suppress diffusion of the sample in the extractor during the pressure rise and the ...

Abstract

The present invention provides an adhesive for a dermal patch comprising an acrylate-base polymer in which the repetitive unit is represented by the formulae (1), (2) and (3): wherein M represents NH4<> or an alkali metal, and X represents an unsaturated monomer unit other than the formulae (1) and (2), containing 5 mole or more of acrylic acid (salt) represented by the formula (1) as a monomer unit, in which the content of ss-hydroxypropionic acid (salt) is 5,000 ppm or less per solid content of the polymer and having a stable shape retainability, adhesion and percutaneous absorptivity of medicines; an production process thereof; and an adhesive composition for a dermal patch containing the adhesive for a dermal patch, an aluminum compound and water.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This application is an application filed pursuant to 35 U.S.C. § 111(a), which required 35 U.S.C. § 119(e)(1) in May 2004 under 35 U.S.C. Priority to U.S. Provisional Application Serial No. 60 / 569,622 filed on the 11th. technical field [0003] The present invention relates to an adhesive for a skin patch comprising an acrylate-based polymer as a main component, such as a percutaneous absorption type preparation for external use and the like. More specifically, the present invention relates to an acrylate-based polymer whose physical properties such as adhesiveness (which is important as a skin patch) have less divergence and can ensure stable quality, and also relates to its preparation method. Background technique [0004] In general, aqueous-type skin patches such as plasters are formed by ionically cross-linking sodium polyacrylate, polyacrylic acid, acrylic acid-sodium acrylate copolymer, cross-linked polyacryli...
