Problems solved by technology

[0007] However, in the above-mentioned patent publication, in order to control the generation of diffusible hydrogen that occurs in the weld metal, the amount of metal fluoride is increased, which causes an increase in fumes and sputtering during welding, resulting in poor weldability.

Abstract

Provided is a flux cored wire containing titanium oxides for CO2 gas shielded arc welding. The flux cored wire containing titanium oxides for CO2 gas shielded arc welding comprises C 0.03-0.07%, Mn 1.6-2.0%, Si 0.35-0.7%, Mg 0.5-1.1%, B 0.005-0.02%, Al 0.08-0.3%, Ni 0.7-2.0%, F 0.15-0.35%, titanium oxides 5.5-7.5%, 0.25% or less of at least two non-titanates selected from SiO2, Al2O3 and ZrO2, a balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities. The total content of titanate and non-titanate is controlled below 8.0%, based on the total weight of the flux cored wire. The provided flux cored wire containing titanium oxides for CO2 gas shielded arc welding has superior impact toughness at low thermal temperature and excellent all position welding.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an electrode containing a titanium dioxide-based flux for carbon dioxide gas arc welding. More specifically, the present invention relates to an electrode containing a titanium dioxide-based flux for carbon dioxide gas arc welding, which has good all-position weldability, particularly good low-temperature toughness. Background technique [0002] Electrodes containing titanium dioxide-based fluxes that use carbon dioxide as a shielding gas are widely used in the welding of mild steel and high-tensile steel structures due to their good welding workability, especially good bead appearance and welding efficiency. [0003] However, in general, the electrode containing the above-mentioned titanium dioxide-based flux contains a large amount of oxides such as titanium dioxide as a slag formation agent, so the slag is acidic. Moreover, because the shielding gas decomposes to produce oxygen, the oxygen content inside the weld me...
